A Status for Aesthetics and Organisational Development
- Antonio Strati interviewed by Peter Hanke

The Centre for Art & Leadership at Department of Management, Politics & Philosophy invites you to a seminar with  Antonio Strati on Thursday, 26 May 2005 at Copenhagen Business School

Parallel to a series of conferences in Siena, continuing in Gattieres (2003) followed by Bramstrup (2004, 2005) and other projects among certain academic institutions, the field of knowledge production combining aesthetics with organisational behaviour has emerged clearly.

How does Antonio Strati, as an experienced researcher, see the future for these transdisciplinary studies?

Antonio Strati is Associate Professor and lectures on Sociology of Organization at the Universities of Trento and Siena, Italy

Antonio received his action research training in organization studies at the Tavistock Institute of Human Relations in London, UK. He is a founder-member of SCOS, the Standing Conference on Organizational Symbolism (SCOS-EGOS), and his research interests focus on aesthetics, symbolism, tacit knowledge, cognitivism, organization as hypertext, and the use of grounded theory in organization studies. His most recent books include Organization and Aesthetics (Sage, 1999; French transl.: PUL 2004) and the textbook Theory and Method in Organization Studies (Sage, 2000) and the special issue of Human Relations (2002) edited together with Pierre Guillet de Monthoux.
